Hi Roger,

I really like how you and the other bird/wildlife shooters on this forum give us all a glimpse of what might be an everyday part of your life and experience, but might as well be from a different planet as far as my part of the country is concerned. The various mating rituals of birds is something that I'd like to be able to capture more.

Good eork!

Nice shots Roger! Knowing a little bit about how wary turkeys are, I am curious if you stalked close to them or if you were set up in a blind or what for these shots? Did you call them in?

Tim some of both a stalk & a ambush. When I spotted them It looked to me like they were heading towards the little meadow that the girls were in. I went around and stalked in so I could cath them coming towards the girls. The girls almost caught me a couple of times. Trying to watch the girls and at the same the the guys that were coming made it a very slow stalk to get to the bush I wanted to use for cover. I am guesing 15 yards in about 20 minutes.

Thanks for looking and for commenting.
