They are beautiful. What lens you were using?
Are they portrait? Or you call them portrait because they are not landscape (in print orientation). I am confused by the subject.

What you call print format that is the when longest part of the page is up and down is also refered to as portrait format. The other way with the longest part of the page going from side to side is reffered to as landscape format. Here is an example.....
