My wife plays guitar, and I've always enjoyed the look of a fine instrument, so I tried a few shots to show off the beauty of her electric-acoustic Ovation six-string.

I just used a single bare incandescent bulb, at various angles, and a dark background cloth that I removed in PSE 3 to make the black background.

Dan, I really like 1-3. 4 is missing something but the others have a very pleasing look. Well done.

These are all really good pictures, but there's just something really special with the first three. My favorite is the third one - there's something about the lighting and view that really appeals to me (though I really like the second one too).

FUNNY HOW ONE MIGHT LOOK AT THINGS....

Photographer great light and detail...

Musician.... you want how much for this thing with MOON CRATERS on the neck??? I could get from K-MArt PLASTIC perfect :-)

And yes they are all wonderful shots!!!
