Ft. Worth Zoo, who would have thought. I knew Dallas had one, but didn't know Ft. Worth had their own. I checked out their website, it looks like I may have to head down there next month! It looks 10x better than what Oklahoma City has.

the zoo in FW is a world class zoo. it makes the dallas zoo look bad. well actually it's probably made the dallas zoo get better. if/when you come down let me know and we'll get together. better be soon tho as we both know what summer is like here.

kjell,
i know the problem now that i see your pic. i mislabeled the macaw as there was a blue and gold there also.

Roy, good composition: color and subject. My favorites are no. 2 and no 6.

Your flamingos are OUTSTANDING! All of your pictures are wonderful, but that last one is SO cool!

Texas does get a mite warm in the summer, doesn't it? That's the only thing I didn't like about living in Texas (we lived in Copperas Cove for 5 years).

Roy, couldn't help myself and tried to change the red branch - hope you don't mind.

I've been playing around with photoshop cs3 and especially camera raw 4 that's included.
One of the new features is that you can open jpg's in camera raw,
and another one is that you can change the color / saturation / luminance of 8 colors.
Just dropped changed the saturation for Red (-19 ) and Oranges (-48 )

Now I'm stopping trying to sell ps. :-)

This is the result what do you think. - Ronny

ronny, i think it's great. thanks for the kick in the butt. here's a new one. quick mask on the log and desaturate the reds and yellows. new layer, gaus blur at 2.6, erase to get the bird and log back, some burn in of the back ground and i got this.
