As usual, I'll get slammed for picking boring subjects but I'm happy with em'.

oh man is that the DA40mm cap? They are ordinary and beautiful enough. For prime lens , any subject no matter how mundane it is could be engaging and interesting.

Hi Daniel,

That's the hood/cap assembly.

The cap is just as irritating as everyone says it is. I was tipped about using a Fuji film canister cap. It flips in place and can stay there.

The DA40 pancake or the new DA35 Macro is on my wish list. I really like the pics I see from the DA40 and we'll see what the DA35 is like when it gets out. It will be like the 50 macro's werefor film cameras- Bruce

Why should you be slammed. The photos we all take are taken to interest us.

We share because we want to.

Personally I wouldn't use the same subjects, but all of your shots are well executed, sharp, with good exposure. You couldn't want for more, regardless of the subject.

Keep shooting and sharing.

The bokeh shot (I like that word:blah looks pretty good to me. That is the main reason for me to have a prime.

I like them; they are technically very good and why does the subject need to appeal to anyone but you? Please post more from that 40mm and I am interested in your thoughts on it too.
