Went to farmers' market to get some food and groceries, and noticed a group of people walking around with signs. Turns out they were protesting to keep local ownership of the sand dunes. They were more than happy to have their photos taken.

Jason, great shot

the sharpness of the main subject to start of with, but the background adds a lot to the total. Especially those boards - Ronny

Very nice scene of "life on the street". Looks like the 50mm f/1.4 is works well!

Interesting shot - a typical California scene, right (he, he)? Colorful crowd, I must say (saw an equally colorful crowd today, though there was a different cause. Come to think of it, I have no idea what the cause (or causes) were).

You did good showing us how it is in the city. I consider any place large enough to have a traffic light a city.

oh my,
I've tried to not post on this thread, but........
i remember the protests over the V war. i got arrested 3 times for it.

a couple years ago i remodeled the scene of the action. the 1st opening had an older cop there(sorry Tim) and i asked him ' wow, we really gave you guys a hard time 30 years ago''.. a smile later and the answer was yes. his younger partner asked about the situation at the time.

ME??? if you can remember the "70s... then you weren't there
