Nice shots Roy, but I believe that is a cecropia moth not a luna moth, since luna moths are green with a long tail on each wing.

no sir,
i looked this up when it first came up. i doubt seriously i'm wrong, but i will ck again. the wings at the capture time were not fully expanded. i will ck again tho.

Nice shots Roy! Gotta feel bad for the moth though. Imagine waking up from a six + month nap and the first thing that happens is some guy starts firing off a flashgun in your face before you have your first cup of coffee. I'll bet he eats all of your sweaters!
