A rose is a rose, but Harriet's is particlarly nice. I'll go with that one too.

Harriet has my vote. BTW, spring is very late here, these shots show the leaves starting to open on the dog berry trees just today, June 4th.

Sorry I haven't been posting too much lately. We are in the States for 3 months and doing a lot of traveling to see all our family (Sons in New Hampshire and Georgia, Daughter and in-laws in Virginia, and Dad in PA) so I don't always have a lot of time on the net.

This is a tough compitition. I like Harriet's rose, too, but I also like Roy's birds nest. What to do, what to do! I think I will go with Harriet's. They are both wonderful as are most of the entries.

Here's my vote!

Harriet's Rose - Gold

Roy's Nest - Silver

Fred's Tulip - Bronze

Penolta's Pansy - Very Honorable Mention

(Sorry Roy, I gave it 3 flips outta 5...Harriet pushed!)

Yep, it is pretty hard to chose one but I am going to pick Kjell's rapeseed field as my favorite.

I just ran through the entries again - there are so many outstanding entries, and I am surprised at just how many people like my little rose.

I'm having a tough time - going back actually confused me more than I thought it would because there are so many outstanding choices. I really love Roy's babies however, I'm going to stay with the one that I said "WOW" to when I first saw it.

My vote goes to Kjell and his rapeseed field.
