Yes. Also the right angle finder and other viewfinder accessories. All the more reason for an old Pentax shooter to have held on to those old accessories.

*istD, K100D and K10Dall come bundled with a viewfinder capwhich the package checklists in the manuals call the "ME viewfinder cap" - the ME was one of the M series film cameras (MX, ME, ME Supeer, etc.) which replaced the K's. The only K series body I still have is a KX and the M series caps and angle finder I use now are a bit loose on it, but still fit. The K accessories might be a bit tight on the M series and dslr's- I dug out a couple of oldermarked Asahi Pentax accessoriees - an old style right angle finder (which I haven't used in years) and a magnifier - the magnifier fits, but the angle finder was too tight. So I guess they slightly enlarged the mount for the M series - either I never really noticed, or I forgot since I quit using Pentax when Minolta came out with autofocus, and only started using Pentax dslr's since they got there ahead of Minolta and I had so much Pentax stuff still in the cabinet. At any rate,it would be prudent to notbuy K series accessories withour trying them first, unless you are willing to try to adapt them by filing or spreading the metal clips.

Sorry if I mislead you.

PS -M series accessories can be used on Minolta viewfinders too.

The right angle finder for my Spotmatic will not fit my DS but it does fit my LX. With a bit if work it could be made to fit though.

Roy,

I don't want to screw mine up just to use it on my DS/10D, but it looks to me like taking the springs off and just a bit of bending should do the trick.
