Tim,

I like your basement office. I recently convinced my wife to let me move the futon from the guest bedroom (that guests never stay in) to the basement for my 'heatof summer, night shift bedroom'. In Florida, that would be year-round I guess. Only about 4 months here. The computer, however, is staying upstairs.

My photo workspace is either the dining room table (when I had the computer downstairs), a laptop, and achair on the back deck in nice weather, or a table upstairs with my back to the big-screen TV. Not at all interesting.
Portable work space sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

Yeah especially when a hurricane could pop up at any time half the year, and you just gotta get up and go in a hurry.

Laptop, box of DVD's, Camera bag, and gone if need be.

Printers et al are insured and replaceable.

Well I don't have anything to compare to Roger but here is my space. I was lucky enough to end up in a four bedroom house and convinced my wife to cede me the basement bedroom.
Hey is that a Dell 3000 or 3100cn? While I might get certain thing out printed I have been (and so have others) very happy with my Dell 3100cn color laser output.

Here's my corner, where I have to fight off computergaming kids to get to the sit on the chair. The sad thing about this photo is that I did tidy up the are for the shot.

In the future I will get my own room like Tim. Downside is that I'll have to extend the house to get it.

Hi Guys

Heres my work area. Also have laptop, that can be used anywhere. But this Is my main Spot. Its in a Corner of the family room Downstairs. Shared mainly With the kids. Also In The picture is my Shortwave radio. I am a Ham operator also but until I find a Suitable place to setup, My gear Is Stored.

Tim: I am also a gamer. Generally During the Winter months Check Out my Collection on the Shelf
