Hi Rickst,

Very nice capture, I've only seen one -- ever -- and while I was fumbling with lenses, it flew off, never to be seen again! Wood Ducks and Hummingbird Moths have been two creatures that I really want to get good pics of , and remain major failings, I've had no luck at all!!!!

I have seen a couple of butterfly moths here in Florida but none since I got into photography. That is a great capture, insects in flight are a real challenge with a macro lens.

Great shot,

the first time (only time) I came across them was last year, in the south of France. Tried a lot of times to get a descent shot of them (pana fz5) but the end result compared with this shot was rubbish.

again great shot - Ronny
