I'm not entirely happy with my flower pictures at the moment - I either have too small a DOF or too much, have a bit of camera shake or the focus is slightly off. In any case, here are some of them I've taken recently.

Cactus flower (Botanical Gardens) - Phoenix 100mm macro, K10.

Don't know what this is - it has a cluster of tiny flowers. This one has buds at the moment. I thought the focus and DOF was all right on this one, even if there's not much color at this point.

Don't know what this one is, either.

This one isn't as good, but I like the ant. It looks like all the ones I've ended up posting (there's one more) were all taken with the K10 and the Phoenix macro lens, and all at the Botanical Gardens.

Last one from the botanical gardens. I just like the color on this one.

Hey Harriet,

You have some nice shots there, I like the first and last ones the best. The cactus flower is perfectly focused.

Love the Ant on the one.

Thanks, Tim and Fred.

Thought I would add this picture. It isn't a flower, but it's a sign of spring, and I did take it in the botanical gardens.
