Why must you own a Pentax camera to use an amazing piece of glass?

Why would you use a Pentax box to display an Olympus camera? It does look like a bit of mis-advertising. Though my local camera store has big heading signs above their back display area with the names of the brands they carry, but rarely have the correct brand under the name (exception being Nikon - that's usually under the Nikon sign. But Canon isn't always under the Canon sign).

They are using an adapter for PK to use the Pentax lens on the Oympus camera.

The FA 77mm f/1.8 is now a 154mm f/1.8 with the 2x crop factor on the olympus... and they get liveview LCD... so the question is, "Why not?"

I'll have to agree with Nick. Why not! You have an excellent body, combined with one of the best lenses made.

There's nothing really wrong, just strange.

I know a guy who put a chevy big block (engine) into his old, clapped out challenger. I was impressed with the effort it took. It drives nice. But his mopar friends have done nothing but trash him for over a year......... I guess they're just jealous that a mopar driver can make power on the cheap while they're stuck overpaying for every little part just because it has a pentastar stamped into it.

I guess this picture proves there are no worthwhile Olympus lenses :-)
