Young Barn Swallow

No barn any where around I was on a ridge waiting for a Osprey to fly by and this little guy showed up checked me out and left. He does fly fast.

Hi Roger,

Nice way to take advantage of a VERY rare opportunity. There are a lot of these guys around here, and they always seem to be on the move -- they fly very fast, and are always changing direction suddenly, and I don't think I've ever seen on on the ground. . .much less very close.

Very nice picture - love the exposure, and it's a good reason for keeping an eye out all around.
