Hallo there guys! It's been some time since I posted anything so I guess it's about time I share some pics.

Nope - this was not a commercial model shoot. On the contrary, thiswas a purely amateur excercise organized by a group of local hobbyists like me. Infact, this was time for me and most of the group ( at times it was like the blind leading the blind). We didn't have much in terms of lighting accessories except for our shoe-mounted flash and a single handheld gold reflector. As always, I was the only Pentax guy there (the rest were Canon shooters). The models basically posed for free in exchange for a copy of our shots. We had to pay for the make-up artist though.

I brought only two primes with my Ds and Sigma flash. Started out with the 77mm but ended up switching to the FA50 since I couldn't get full body shots due to lack of space (there were 9 of us shooting at one time).

We had lots of fun inspite of the heat. We started the shoot at about 9:30am and ended at about 2pm (bad timing I know). Came home with about 380 RAW shots (yikes!). The following images were done with just some quick and dirty PP or almost no PP (see images in reply).

Meet Cheska. Cheska was fun to shoot and made it easy for us newbies.

Shot with the 77

with the FA 50:

More to follow.

Meet Amore. She was more versatile in terms of facial expressions.

Still haven't gone through all my shots. I'll post some more later.

Thanks Roy! I'm eagerly awaiting our next photo EB (eyeball - local term for a meet up). I'll be posting some more pics soon.

Ver nice shots, I have never tried anything like this. If I was not a married man, I would be asking for Amore's phone number. :-)

YIN and YANG

Amore and Cheska- somehow we had more to blame than the heat for our dry mouths.

Sorry, we just couldn't resist this pose:

Some behind the scenes next.

ROTFL! You guys are too much!

Nols - your models are beautiful and your pictures do them justice. I love looking at pictures like this, probably because I've never been able to get anything half as nice when I'm shooting people.
