My brother received his first child yesterday, a girl. I drove 4 hours to the hospital to see baby Lily for the first time. She's a very quiet baby (at least for now); didn't cry once while we were there, at least until feeding time.

Lily's yawning here, not crying:

Here's Lily with her mom:

Please convey my congratulations to the parents. Your images take me back to the birth of my son (almost 20 years ago) - Kids are cool - Did you get your hold the baby time in - -- That's the thing I miss the most --- My son just does not fit in my arms like that anymore.

What a cutie. Congrats on being an uncle and playing with your niece. Mine are great - they give us excuses to go to places we might not otherwise go (picking up and storing their stuff over the summer until they come back to school in the fall).
