Fleet week NYC Battery park, lower manhattan, blimp and a frigade....little hazy, makes for some unsharpness on the pictures

Pentax K110D f/13, 1/350 OEV ISO200
With Pentax f/3.5 18-55mm DA kit lens
slight touchup with mac Aperture

also the .RAW looks quites a bit better but its 10 megs, don't think the servers would appreciate that!

ruth,
welcome to the forum
what software do you have available??
these are nice shots but with just some simple post processing(PP) they would be a lot better.

Ruth, nice series and welcome.

I have to concur with Roy, just a small bit of post processing will enhance these shots to the next level.

My favorites are "frigate by battery park..." and the "fireboat".

A little sharpening of the first gives a real pleasing result.

Ruth, I like NY anyway and I like to see the skyline. The ships get lost in that skyline though. You need to find a way to get your subject to stand out more, like you did with the fire boat. Still I enjoyed the set and would like to see more of your work. Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum.
