I majored Photo in CEGEP (Quebec education = HighSchool grade 7-11, then CEGEP, then University), and basically ran the darkroom for 3 years there. When digital first showed up, I abandoned photography altogether.

Now, 7 years later, I've armed myself with a K10D. Developing in Camera Raw isn't the same thing as being in a darkroom, but CRW doesn't need a ventilation system, nor does it smell like vinigar.

Anywho, these are the first pics I've ever posted to a photography forum. Hope you like em.

Some comments would be warmly welcome.

you're right, also you don't have to wash the the film or prints forever. that's one of the reasons i quit the darkroom around 1980. now it's heaven on your screen.

nice to see you post sarah!!!

Love the sky! As far as the dandilion - that's depressing. It makes me think about how I'm going to be spending this weekend - we have a date with a weedwacker, brush clearance is due next week (sigh) and I have to knock down all those dandilions and other weeds.

Thanks for the kind words.

A couple friends noted that it looked "Too Photoshopped", but the truth is that it's just a couple of Camera Raw tweeks and that's it. Actually the sky was DEsaturated because the blue was overbearing

Welcome to the forum. All three are nice shots but I would chose your very dramatic sky as my favorite. Nice job.
