I especiallylike the Alligator portrait and the hawl, but that last one has me somewhat mystified. Do you know what it is? I'd like to say it is a Cooper's Hawk, but the proportions look all wrong - maybe just truncated by the telephoto (the full 400mm?). And I don't think I ever saw a deer in the ENP - lots of birds and herps, though -you were luckyto get a buck in velvet, too..

That was my second guess, but the face pattern and apparent length of leg threw me off. Thanks.

Exceptional sharpness on the Gator and the Hawk (?)! I visited the Everglades National Park a couple of years ago and was in awe at the vastness, diversity in fauna/flora, and the beauty of the area! Took a tour on an air boat which was excellent! Alas, I only had a point and shoot digital camera at the time and was limited in what I was able to capture.

Neat pictures! I also like your blue reflections, as well as the hawk and the gator.

wow, you don't get a shot of a hawk like that every day...

some impressive shots in there, the gator, blue reflection and hawk clearly jump out.
