Another great shot.

With the 50mm on the K10D, have you tried it in manual mode and pressing the Green button to meter?

Can be a stop out, but still allows you to use it. I have been trying it with a 135mm f2.8 lens and it works a treat.

Mine doesn't seem to work that well in manual mode even with the gree button, although my DS works perfectly doing the same thing. The exposure seems to be all over the map with the K10D for some reason, although with a manual 2.8 lens, is works just fine.

That is very close to the truth Roy, I just don't do well with plants at all.

Wonderful flower, and I like your border.

If I use a manual lens wide open, my K10 meters perfectly. If I stop it down and use the green button it is VERY overexposed - and not just one stop. I played with the Phoenix FA lens at A and had a shutter speed of 1/125 at f8. I put the lens to f8 and used the green button - the camera gave me 1/25 or 1/30, a whole lot more than one stop. It's very consistent with all manual or A/FA lenses when not on the "A" spot on the lens. The K100 (and the DS before it) metered perfectly with the same lenses.

Nice flower shot Tom and I also like the border. Maybe Kjell could give you some tips to get a green thumb, after all, someone growing tropical plants in the artic circle must be doing something right!

dont they smell amazing?? I thought it smelled so good that I started eating pieces to see if it tasted equally good, and it turns out the Pistil (the big stem-like thing in the middle of all the little pollen ones) actually tastes pretty good

*I don't advice eating parts of plants without research!
