The level of bias over there is so visible now.

Lets compare a few things just for fun. :blah:

Top LCD panel with back light? - No!

Selectable Jpeg resolution? - No!

Focus Motor? - No!

Shake Reduction? - No!

Weather Sealing? - No!

Supports Grip? - No!

8 manual WB presets? - No!

Front Dial? - No!

DOF Preview? - No!

RAW button? - No!

Has NIKON stamped on the front - Yes!

Okay, I am finished with my little rant. :homey:

It's common knowledge that DPreview ratings are handed out arbitratily.

Info from another forum about dpreview:

"K100 images vs rebel xti were all converted to 72dpi vs 240/300 dpi of rebel and d50. Again Canon was amazing while the Pentax failed to impress."

I know that dpi is not supose to be an issue on a computer monitor, but take a photo of a brass letter such as "A". Keep it the same physical size and save one at 72 dpi and one at 300 dpi and you will find the lower dpi image seems less sharp than the higher one even on a computer monitor. Try it!

I noticed they didn't compare the Nikon D40x with the K10D, just to the oly and the canon.

I think it might be embarrassing to show the specs side by side and say the higher specced camera scored higher number of points but we rated it lower that the new Nikon. Buy the new Nikon but don't buy the Pentax.

I think Phil has painted himself into a corner on the K10D, and is afraid to ever mention the Pentax in a comparison with any other comparable 10mp camera.
