these guys seem to get bigger everyday

after watching them this morning i think mom is trying to coax them out of the nest here. i have seen them walking the branches but only by the nest.

they are also loosing that whispy feathering and starting to show some feathered patterns.

here's dad. the only way i can tell them apart is his feet have a deeper red cast to them.

Hi Roy,

Keep 'em coming. I'm really finding this interesting -- a great opportunity to watch the development of these heron babies. To think that they'll be ready to leave the nest and start learning to live on their own in 4-5 weeks is pretty amazing.

i could only get a multi image post to work on pages befor the last crash. you still have to host and link multiple images in the same post.

the frame came from an action for PSi d/l off the net. i'll post it here again if you want it.
