Slow news day -- :yawn:

CBS News reports that while these cicadas normally have red eyes as adults (see picture of emerged adult above), a boy in the Midwest found one with blue eyes, which "experts" say is very rare. :O

So, if you see one (or one with any other color), be sure to take a picture! :idea:

Sorry penolta, I thought I gave enough hints that this pic was altered and is a hoax.

BTW, I saw a pic of the one that the boy found -- apparently around here somewhere, and it has light blue eyes. . . I'll keep my eyes open
