Hello everyone! My name is Lisa and I finally took the plunge and bought a dslr. I have been lurking for a couple months reading all your expertise and advice while researching for a camera to buy and of course enjoying all your wonderful photos.Having bought a 100D a couple weeks and slowly trying to become familiar with it I have enough nerve to post some pics. I wil warn you in advance I will probably be bothering you all with a few hundred questions......Hello again,Dawg!!:bye:

This a den we discovered just north of town:

Welcome! I'd say you were off to a good start.

With 793 posts you obviously aren't new to photography - you must have been in some other forums.

Lisa

Welcome from another Pentaxian and Canadian. Your pict has shown that you would not need too much time to be familiar with your K100D. Look forward to seeing more of your pict.

Thanks all ..for looking and the kind words!...I used to frequent the Kodak forum..had three of their higher zooms (6490..7590..610)in three years but usually only took photos in automatic and out of the window of my work truck..lol.This is a whole new ball game.. with all the different settings and options available.I had an old Pentax slr years ago..so I figured I'd stick with it as I had a couple lenses from then that I could use now..(still learning how to that, too). But the learning is fun..

G'Day and Welcome Lisa.

Those den cubs a so cute.

I hope Momma found her cub.

No wonder Chybs is your favourite, what beautiful green eyes, this is my favourite shot.

All wonderful shots, show us plenty more.
I love my K100D, I'm sure you will to.

Well, it IS a small world - wait until tomorrow when I mention to my hubby that there's someone here from Minnedosa. He spent some time there growing up and I think he might still have an uncle living there.

Don't hesitate to ask questions - everyone here would be very happy to answer. We're a friendly bunch and there's all kinds of experience around.
