I visited my brother on my way home for vacation, and got to see my latest niece again. I brought out the camera when she finally woke up (she's asleep 95% of the day), and found this photo I took very hilarious. The mom is burping the baby, but the way she was holding the child made it look like she was choking the baby. The look on the baby's face really gave the appearance as well.

No babies were harmed in the making of this photograph.

Tried to sell it to Save the Children for an anti-child-abuse campaign? Or just save it and sell it to your niece when she's a teenager, she can use it to blackmail her parents.:-)

I have a picture of a very dirty boy, 4 years old, who is apparently eating something he found on the ground. I have used it, passing it around in the classroom (I'm a teacher) pretending to introduce the theme of poverty in the thirld world and the situation of street children in Latin America. Then I tell them it's my own son in my own yard, and change the subject to "manipulative propaganda" and how easily we can be mislead with emotional pictures. (Not that I don't care about street children, I really do. But that is another story.)
