For me, humor is very important in photography. You'd be surprised what kind of absurd things you sometimes see on the streets. These were all shot in my city, Ghent.

All I had with me was the DL and the 50mm f/1.7 A.

I can guess what this lady thought of me

Creative Parking...

Watertourists...normally these boats are full...these 2 had their own private boattrip. I wonder if the guide was wearing a bad cologne...

Really good stuff Tom.

Fred

DL with the 50mm is a great combo.

Love your series, they sure do bring a smile on, don't they? Love the "creative parking!" What's special is that you saw these at all - so often funny or out-of-the-ordinary scenes get missed because I'm not looking around at what's really there. Takes a special way of looking at the world.

Thanks guys

Yeah it does, but I only get lucky from time to time.

This is a friend of mine: http://arturian.wordpress.com/straatfotos/

click on "fotoalbum", truly amazing how he does that.

They're more than rumors, they're true!
We've got over 200 to try out, so either bring a driver or don't come by car

Always welcome Kjell.

Talk about brilliant street scenes - thanks for posting the link to your friend's album. Gotta get out there more and try to "see" the pictures like this (mine usually get deleted quickly).
