You are definitely in the wrong forum:-)

Do you still have the FA 50mm? Let us know how they compare.

Didn't you just sell a mint one on ebay?

you've got a bad case of LBA there...

maybe try the old manual M version of the 40mm f2.8, it'll save you a lot of cash...

I'm still selling the DA40. It has a few days left. I like that lens but f/2.8 is unacceptable, my lba says it doesn't matter if i don't sell it because I like the form factor, but the truth is I've barely used it at all, so out it goes.

The FA50 has a permanent place in my kit. I intend to do all sorts of comparisons.

Can you guys list some subjects/tests you'd like to see?

I also got a slightly more fun thing at the same time as the FA43... A Pentax W30.

I remember way back when I was researching the DL that people seemeed to love the w10, and I'm going on vacation this year. Should be a fun, no-brains-required cam.

As I've been saying constantly for the past while, we shall see.

Whoops, sorry didn't read your first post very well, read 40mm instead of 43mm:roll:

Nice buy! I think you'll be much happier with the 43mm f1.9 if you thought 2.8 was too slow.

Also this one is sometimes metioned as "the perfect normal lens", as 43mm is the exact diagonal of a 35mm film plane...

Let us know how it is!

As I am frequently fond of saying......

" What does need have to do with it?"

Apparently you were shaking when taking pict of this new baby (43mm Limited). I would too. But my F50mm is too close in focal length. Congratulation and looking forward to seeing more of usu steady and cool shots.
FYI you may qualify to have LBA when you have got both the black and silver 43mm
