got one of these to sit still long enough to get a few shots of it. K100D with Tamron 90mm f/2.8 and tripod

Nice shot, those butterflies are flying all over the place never sitting still long enough to get a shot.

I remember reading somewhere that if you catch one and put it in your fridge for a few minutes then reliese it. it will land and stay put untill it warms up.

Never tried though

Bet it took some patience before it decided to pose for you, Rickst.

My grandpa told me how to catch a Pied Wagtail. Just use a salt spreader and spread some salt on it's tail, then it will sit still and wait for you to catch it!
