Been working a bit to hard last weeks so haven't used my cam much, but the sky is clearing (not outside been raining real hard - the projects I'm busy on are finalizing)

So got me a flash this saturday, and want to share my first impressions

The flash itself is fine, but the manual ... I already hate reading those things and this one is really really bad.
The wireless functionality works but I guess it fires on the wrong moment. Might be me though I guess it's not.

And now some shots, any c&c is always welcome

Oh yes before I forget, taken with a k10d + kiron105mm + flash + lumiquest soft box.

Alcea rosea / Hollyhock

I Agree with Darren. All the shots are great. But 2 and 3 are outstanding.

Nice tast shots. My fav is the 3 rd one (fly) . I have the DG super junior (ST) a I am not into flash that much. My AF360 is sort of handicapped after it has lost all function in detecting the correct focal length of the lens attached. So I can only do manual setting with my AF360. My ST just works flawlessly in pTTL. Cannot complain and I will post a few macro shots later on in the yr. Thanks for sharing.
BTW is the size of your Super as big as that of AF540. K10D is lot larger than my K100D. That should not matter

I'm another person whos partial to hollyhock - love the first one. While the fly is an excellent picture, I don't like them so it's not my favorite. The butterfly is interesting texture with the white on white.

Like everyone else has said, the fly is an incredible macro, great job! Not that there is anything wrong with the others, but wow!
