UNHAPPY Osprey In Flight

Ma was about 30 yards away in a tree and the 3 babies were yelling. They still haven't gotten to where they raise up and look around by themselves they only do that when Ma is at the nest. After only about 5 minutes of yelling Ma left the tree and headed for the nest. I don't know how or why but the babies shut up when Ma left the tree. Looked to me like she had a talk with them after getting back to the nest.

You've done it again, all fantastic.
Well I don't think you can take a bad shot.

they shut up because mom fed them. this happens in every nest i've ever observed. recently with the herons it was a free for all when mom or dad showed up.
