i have to admit that i did a good amount of editing on the orchids :? background wasn't always black, but i thought it was more effective with less noise.

-thanks again

These are fantastic photos.

I started by looking at the ones I like, then decided that the shorter list was the ones I wasn't as keen on (stiil excellent, but don't move me) 1/2/4/7/8/11/12

Love the rest with a clear winner of no3, or no5 or was it No6....

Fantastic - looks like you had a great time.

Neat series - they are all well-done. Looks like a fun day for photography, even with the rain.

Very nice shots, I really liked the way you composed the fly on the yellow flower. Composure is my weak spot and I like looking at good shots that make different composure choices than I would tend to make. Thanks for posting them.

thanks, all these were shot on a k100d btw with either the kit 18-55mm lense or my tamron 70-300mm

a few were shot with raynox dcr-250 2.5x macro-converter lense on atop of either of the other two
That's amazing! I was guessing they might be shot with a limited lens, since the colors are so nice and they're so sharp!

Really, excellent photos.

This one is my fav: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1031/...4cd1ef.jpg?v=0

beautiful colors and composition
