No photos are visible using Firefox 2.004 or Konquerer 3.5.7 web browsers (I'm in Linux right now).

This might help:

well s***, it seems to work for some and not others.
picasa doesn't have a way to link to your images when you are on a forum that i know of. what i did was copy the image on picasa and paste it into this post.
people with red Xs, have you tried to rt clik and choose ''show image''.
rudy, i posted 2 images. a butterfly and an eagle.
kjell, why do you see the pix and not others.
i'd like to quit using photo bucket but picasa seems to be too much trouble.

Yep, I can see the butterflies and the eagle, but only by copying the properties and posting into another browser.

IE 7.0 is not showing them.

Darren

Dunno if you have changed anything, but I can now see the Butterfly post.

Just waiting for the eagle to appear. Could be a cache issue in IE7

Just use the size parameter mentioned in the article I posted a link to (see the link in my first post to this thread).

They apparently try to prevent you from direct linking to images in their web albums by default (saves them bandwidth). But, some users have figured out that if you use a size parameter it lets it work more consistently, since Google allows for direct linking using a URL that includes this parameter.

For example, this is the url you used for your second image. If I try to access it by clicking on it, I get a denied error (no permission to view it).

Here is a modified url including another parameter for image size (s640) before the image file name. It works.

Here it is embedded in this post:
