Harriet, I believe last fall I posted some shots from the Dale Chihuly blown glass exhibit at the Missouri Botanical Gardens & I believe that you may have asked for some more shots. WELL....I was there this AM & it finally dawned on me that I never did post anything more for you. Unfortuneately, the full exhibit has moved on but the Gardens did purchase a few pieces for permanent display & I thought I would share some of them.

If anyone is interested in seeing some AMAZING glass, here's a link to Chihuly's website.

http://www.chihuly.com/

The 1st couple shots are close-ups of this beautiful 20 foot tall chandelier that hangs in the entryway of the Gardens.

Hope you enjoy!

Ron

These are some glass vidalia onions that floating in a reflection pond located in front of the Climatron. To make a long story short, Chihuly's mother was a botanist in WA state area & some of his glass are of plants & other vegetation.

Thanks for posting them - I was fascinated by your glass pictures last year. This series is wonderful - though I never expected to see a floating blue onion...
