I've always considered humor in photography very important.

My favourite kind of photography has always been street photography, and spotting the little "absurd" things in the daily life.

So the challenge for this month is:

Make a photo that contains some humor. It can be simply a shot of something that's funny, or an out-of-context shot of several things that are funny when combined, or whatever your creativity tells you :)

Happy shooting!

I don't know if I should thank you or not for this topic. I know you can get funny pictures in places other than with street photos, but that's the place you find them mostly. And while I LOVE looking at good street photos, that's the area I have the most trouble with. So this will be a hard topic for me to contribute tobut I will have a blast following it. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll do another movie premier this month. Or could I use my cell phone photographer picture?

Couldn't resist posting this, even if it was posted in another thread yesterday. Maybe I'll replace it later. I call it... hmmm... "Coping with the boss"

They sure don't make cats like they used to. This one got pecked off the bird's side of the road.

Sorry about the blown-out highlight but this was "shot from the hip" as they say.

What wonderful pictures so far! I've seen mockingbirds dive-bomb a long-haired cat when we were living in Texas - they were trying to nest in our hay loft and kept running off the barn cats. They really picked on the one long-haired male we had (did they want his fur for the nest?). They finally gave up because we were up in the loft twice a day to feed the horses and kept disturbing them.
