Ah, so the site's finally back!
Went with a group shoot and visited San Pablo City last July 1 -Sunday. The city is about 2-1/2 hours drive from Manila and is well known for having seven small lakes within its vicinity thus the name - The City of Seven Lakes. Since we wanted to catch the sunrise we decided to meet midnight the night before and get an early start.

Brought several lenses but ended up using mostly the DA 21, Da 50-200, with an occasional shot with the Sigma 70-300(Am still using my good old Ds).
Pics to follow.

Before the main pics, just wanted to share some pics of the cast.
For the very first time, Pentaxians outnumbered the Nikon users 3 to 2. Here are the rest of the gang at 4am in the morning - ready to shoot. We got to meet a local resident and explained to him what we were doing so early in the morning.

Err...a picture of the said local resident. According to him, it will most definitely rain so no chance to for us to shoot sunrise pics.

Main pics to follow.

At Sampaloc Lake:

The first lake we visited was Sampaloc Lake. Unfortunately, the frog was right. The scenery was gray and cloudy and in fact it remained that way all day (bad luck for us). Had to play with the colors a bit just to add interest to the otherwise dreary atmosphere:

That's Mt. Banahaw in the background btw.

On this shot, a small banca (canoe) cut across the scene and so I ended up with a ghost boatman:

More to follow.

Wow! Great series! These are wonderful and your local resident is cute - lit with a flashlight? Your scenics just blow me away - my favorite is all of them.I'm not quite as crazy about the lily pic only because the others are just more my type of picture.
