Falcon, Hawk & Owl Portrait

I was at the State Park putting on a wildlife Photography Workshop for the OspreyFest festival. We had some very special guest attend the festival this year from the Santa Fe Raptor Center. The guests were kind enough to pose for some photos. These are injured or abandoned birds that are now used for education programs. They were used in 76 programs this year reaching 3200 children and 7100 adults.

It is organizations like this that help out our wild friends in need and so I decided that even if they are not Wild Free Ranging a little publicity about them would be a good thing.

Hi Roger,

A terrific series! You certainly took advantage of a great opportunity to get close to these guys -- some day I hope to add some stunning portraits of birds of prey like these to my collection.

Perfect shots Roger.

I love the majesty of the birds of prey.

What lens were you using?
