Finally was able to avoid side-stops to get to the beach and photograph surfers, but seems they were having a rough time. Taken with a K100D and a Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 DG APO lens.

Hi Jason,

Not being a surfer -- the only time we get any waves big enough on Lake Michigan, it's during a tornado or some other natural disaster -- I like this kind of surfer shots. . .:-)

The first is my personal favorite -- the guy shows some style . . . while doing a header. . .

Isn't the K100D and a Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 DG APO lens terrific, great action shots.
