Just got my new cam yesterday. These guys were having a power struggle and the chickadee lost. Sure is nice to boost the ISO, something I could not do with my FZ-20

You are right! I am going to like this new cam. Lots of reading and experimenting to be done. The FZ will stay in the arsenel. It will be a long time before I can duplicate the 714mm zoom on the K100. Money wise that is.

In a couple of months I hope to have the best part of it under my belt---hopfully---. I live about 90 minutes north of you in Lindsay.

Very nice photo. Those gold finches can gang up on other birds for sure. It won't take any time at all before you are real comfortable with that new cam.
