I am in a cottage area of Ontario and using dial up for the first thing. It is not that bad as I was expecting even worse speed while uploading some pict. Nothing compared with those from Scott with smallish lens.

To me this is wilderness in a farm of 25 acres. Well the owner is leaving for somewhere real north and I am taking care of the numerous pets in this farm, We Torontonians are just too city-bound used only to urban jungle

Nice shots of the various birds Daniel. It looks like you are making the most of your forced exile from civilisation!

I hope you enjoy it, Daniel. Myself I'm suffering being a "grass widower" (thats what we call a temporarily abandoned husband, my family are in Denmark for the Medieval Week). Normally that would mean high life with the pals inan obscure night club, but I'mleft behind to take care of the pets including our new puppy. Phew, it's right on my feet whatever I try to do!

But Cookie is a great help, entertaining her niece.

Roy, Tim & Kjell,

Thanks for taking time to comment.
When in younger years, there would have been no way that I would be dog sitting for anyone. But somehow I found it enjoyable to have fun with pets and no long term commitment/pain/hassle. A few days in the countryside with great pets really help me to regroup.

Lovely pets, the shot of the kitten with the backlight is gorgeous.

Kjell
Kjell,

Kids are kids . Even for dogs they are ultra active anyway. Your dog seems to be grooming the youngster for a household role.
Nice shots that depict the relationship
