Marmot - Needs a new tooth brush

Looks to me like he needs a new tooth brush or a different kind of toothpaste.

Here is where I found him sun bathing

A little closer look

After he moved to a higher rock

I think he heard my shutter and decided to go back down in the rocks for safety

One more look to see if it is safe to go back up on the rock

Woodchucks are groundhogs and vice versa.
Woodchucks don't "chuck" wood (whatever that means!).
The only US holiday named after an animal, Groundhog Day, is named after a marmot.

Great shots, the only one I had seen before was from the that movie.
I learn somehing new everyday.

These guys are real spooky so it takes a lot of time to get a little closer.
