One of the things I most appreciate about photography as a hobby is how I pay more attention to the world around me. There have probably always been lots of dragonflies around my backyard, only now, with a camera, I tend to notice them. These were all taken with the Adaptall 300mm f/5.6. It does an admirable job as a 1:2 macro lens and allows me to stay far enough away to actually capture a few images of these flightly insects.

Those are some totally GREAT shots with a non-macro 300mm telephoto..
