Happy birthday and welcome to the thrilling world of no DOF and the never ending search for a lighter but yet sturdier tripod!:-)

Thanks Kjell,

I guess I'll better start working out at a gym. The lens was ok, but a 5th tripod I don't think they'll understand my need for it at home

Thanks Roy,

the gas bill wasn't that bad, only I went for the lens when that region just started to go on holliday so the full trip took me almost 4 hours due to traffic jams, the petrol isn't that much 1.30€/liter (unleaded) I guess around 6.8$ a gallon, we had it around 1.5€ last year.

Roy,

we (europe) are just lucky that the dollar is at a low.
If the conversion rate €<>$ would be the same as in 2000,
we would now be paying a whopping 10.4 $/ gallon.

But then I think that the price wouldn't have gone so high,
otherwise my bicycle would have seen some serious use.
