Hi,

It is very hard to take photographs w low contrast objects like you did. I read some post that complaining about difficulties to capture white dress on wedding occasion w DSLR compare w film camera. But this old lens look performs well on this difficult task (pictures no 2 &3). Do you use split focus screen?

Thanks for the input here. I use the auto select and all defaults with the manual focus. I've tried it with the auto focus on but it sometimes in low light doesn't want to get a good focus that way. If I open the aperture enough to get a good focus then step it down the focus can drift off.

How many 135's ya need?

I think the 2.8, even if a lowly scoffed at JC Penny did better.

I do too Hayward and will probably wind up getting rid of this one....But it is a Super takumar and I ...Well ...I don't know....Hmmmm.
