Blue Birds & A Killdeer I think

I went up to the high country to try and find some elk. No elk but some young Mountain Bluebirds showed up and a ???Killdeer??? I think.

Mom showed up with a snack

This character showed up for a couple of minutes then he was gone.

Definitely looks like the Killdeer I took a picture of, and the one in my field guide. Your mountain bluebirds are pretty, too.

Fantastic (have I used this word for your shots before?) shots.

So much detail in the feathers. This lens still on my lottery wishlist.

It was my first chance at a Killdeer. Thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to look.
