My vote's for Mtngal's b&w.

Thanks for your vote TDN! Yours was in my top 3.

Maybe some of you will think it should be up to personal preference, but I'd like to suggest that for the next challenge we try for a more standardized image resolution, like in the area of 720px on the wide end or something along those lines. No big deal, I just think it makes comparing technical quality a bit simpler.
i agree .. either 720 or 792

And the winner is... tarataratam... Mntngal/Harriet with her BW picture!

Congratulations to a well earned recognition, Harriet.:|

But folks, it was tight! Nine entrys got votes, and just till the end I thought I would have to announce a second voting round between the leading three. So every vote really counted this time.

I agree with the suggestion on size, 720 wide or high sounds fine.

Now it's your turn to kick the ball, Harriet.

Wow - a very unexpected (IMHO undeserved)honor, especially with a picture that I hadn't beenquite sure about - thank you, Roy,for the suggestion of converting it to B&W (you deserve a star by your name for that suggestion). There were SO many outstanding pictures this month and all of them were worthy of winning.

I have a new topic in mind - will post ittonight when I get home - I need tore-look at andresize the picture I'm thinking of using as a lead-in for it. I agree that keeping the size to 720 px for the width or height is a good one. For portrait pictures it may cause them to be a bit bigger than screen size, but not by that much, and it will be easier to remember if they are the same.
