The theme for August is Faces. I hope for a creative interpretation of the subject, be it formal portraits, a city skyline, a restaurant entrance or whatever. What falls within or out of the subject is up to the voters at the end of the month.

I start, as an appetizer out of contest, with a shot from my son's theatre group'sput onof the play "One flew over the cuckoos nest", the game watching scene. (Guess who's McMurpy:-)) (No, he's not my son, he played Martini, at the far left in the picture)

This one was taken last month, but it fits the theme so well that I'll cheat this once
(if it's no problem for anyone)

Nice topic You selected :-) If our short summer eves allow me to surf my library I shall definitely participate- so exciting to see more FACES... And Your first entry is full of enthusiasm (both You and the gang- it should have been a very emotional moment for them)
Best and happy shooting, JR

Ira,

No doubt a great pict particularly you are hidden somewhere. But is that an entry? Or it is a comment only? Or should a higher res/larger pict be posted?

Daniel, I actually added noise to this image since I wanted to separate the real image from the reflection.
