Managed to sneak out before work today for some much needed shooting (therapy). K100D with Tamron 90mm f/2.8

Both beautiful photos. I like the subdued light in the first one and the sparkles in the second.

Both of those are very nice Rick. The flowers lend themselves to your macro perspective, what kindare they?

Very nice, Rick. I like them both.

Did you manually focus the web? It seems each time I try something like this, the camera can't decide what to focus on and I end up with a shot of the background instead.

I'm not sure what kind of flower they are--they are in a native prairie restoration project near St Peter, MN.

I always manual focus on spider webs--I've never had an autofocus come out properly.

Pretty flowers - don't know what they are but they are really nice. Your spider webs are always so cool - sure wish ours were as nice. I'd love to get a shot like this!
