Hey Sandra, welcome to the forum! I REALLY like your site's layout & of course, the galleries, especially the pioneer village (the window shot is my favorite!) & the falconery (I also love eagles!). Got some questions about smugmug... did you do the design or is it their program & you pick what you want? Also, how much are the rates? Is it pretty easy to upload & add galleries to? Sorry for so many questions, but I have been wanting to do a site for a while now & thought it might be easier to do through smugmug or photobucket rather than an independent site like a friend wants me to do.

Thanks for sharing the link Sandra & keep up the fine work!

Hi Ron and thanks

The site allows you to customize your galleries and the look of your homepage, there are alot of themes and different looks to choose from. I also looked at doing a website from scratch but do not have any html experience and I like things fast and easy to use and it is very easy to upload and manage all your photos.:-).

The prices will depend on what level of account you want ie: Pro /Basic etc...

I went with pro so my photos are protected and I can use a password for the galleries that I want to send to clients. The best bet is to try it out and see if it works for you, so far I really like it and am planning on paying for it for a year

If I can convince my wife that I NEED to keep it up you should get the credit from me, Susan, I used your e-mail for the reference. Just trying the consumer version but I REALLY like the interface and options there as compared to the pay-version of Kodak.

Smugmug is head over heels in it's superiority :blah:
