Decided to head to the beach to absorb some needed sunlight and keep my camera working. Took some surfer shots, as usual. There were some younger surfers out at the time, which meant they were more riskay with the waves (perfect for photos!) I was taking these shots in the late afternoon, so the sun was not in the most ideal location to illuminate faces.

There was also some random dude that was making an intricately detailed sandcastle:

All in all, this wasn't my best work.

I actually like the sandcastle the best, might have been cool to get a bug's eye view from in close and low.

Looks like a fun day. While the sand castle is definitely my favorite (I love such shots), I like the third one, too. There's so much feeling of motion on that one. Maybe some time after Labor Day I'll go get that pint of clam chowder, and wander down the Pismo pier. I love that place!
