Thanks Gumnut! Actually, I was awake to shoot the sunrise. Half the battle is being there!

Cape Canaveral is where they launch all the space shots from. That's 45 minutes north of here.

WOW...WOW...Look up "awesome" in the dictionary & that picture would be there!!! I try not to use that word loosely but that is ...well, awesome!!! Just Beautiful!!!

They changed the name in the late 60's to Cape Kennedy. Still canaveral to me though. Used to watch them launch from my Granddad's house.

Right you are Dawg. The whole strip of land from just south of Daytona Beach to below Fort Pierce is the actual Cape Canaveral and Cape Kennedy is on the cape.

LOL I'm not really trying to make it complicated!
